Excavation
As excavation contractors, we frequently perform grading, trenching, digging, dredging or site development work. Completing a job successfully requires a full understanding of which of the many types of equipment available are best-suited for a specific task.
Backhoes are a great choice for smaller site excavation work because of their versatile operating design. A backhoe has a scoop on one end and a loader shovel attachment on the other. Dump trucks are used to transport the excavated material for grading later.
Grading is typically conducted with a front-end loader. This machine covers a larger area than a backhoe attachment and is also known as a scoop loader, bucket loader, or shovel.
